Catherine (Cathy) Benoit, FNP is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and a Vermont native. She received an undergraduate education in Dietetics, Nutrition, and Food Sciences from the University of Vermont, where she developed an interest in health promotion and wellness. She completed her nursing education through VTC and has experience in outpatient pediatrics and family medicine. Before coming to CHC, she worked at UVM Medical Center’s inpatient Hematology and Oncology unit as a chemotherapy nurse from 2019 to 2022, where she gained valuable clinical knowledge and a deeper connection with her community. While working as a nurse, she also completed her Master’s degree through Simmons University in Boston, Massachusetts, with a focus on family medicine. Her passions include health promotion, nutrition, and lactation education. In her free time she enjoys swimming, paddle boarding, reading, cooking, watching movies, gardening, and spending time with her family and two cats, Merry and Pippin.
Sarah Arvidson, FNP was born and raised in Massachusetts. She attended Colby College in Maine where she received a BA in biology. She graduated from MGH Institute of Health Professions after completing a direct-entry nurse practitioner program in 2020. Before coming to the Community Health Centers, she completed a family nurse practitioner residency at the Holyoke Health Center in Holyoke, MA. Her professional interests include providing care across the lifespan, women’s health and preventative medicine. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, biking, skiing (downhill and cross-country), listening to podcasts and any kind of outdoor adventure.
Alexandra (Alex) Hoppe MMS, PA-C was born and raised in Vermont. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Health Science from the University of North Florida and a Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Nova Southeastern University in 2013. She initially practiced Neurosurgery at UF Health in Jacksonville before relocating back to Vermont where she has been practicing in the Emergency Room and Urgent Care settings for the past seven years. She is passionate about caring for young adults, women’s health and incorporating shared decision making into her practice. Outside of work she enjoys gardening, baking and enjoying everything Vermont has to offer.
