Catherine Benoit, FNP is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and a Vermont native. She received an undergraduate education in Dietetics, Nutrition, and Food Sciences from the University of Vermont, where she developed an interest in health promotion and wellness. She completed her nursing education through VTC and has experience in outpatient pediatrics and family medicine. Before coming to CHC, she worked at UVM Medical Center’s inpatient Hematology and Oncology unit as a chemotherapy nurse from 2019 to 2022, where she gained valuable clinical knowledge and a deeper connection with her community. While working as a nurse, she also completed her Master’s degree through Simmons University in Boston, Massachusetts, with a focus on family medicine. Her passions include health promotion, nutrition, and lactation education. In her free time she enjoys swimming, paddle boarding, reading, cooking, watching movies, gardening, and spending time with her family and two cats, Merry and Pippin. Accepting new patients.
Karen Lawes, MD grew up in Burlington, Vermont. She received her BA at Colby College and returned to Burlington to complete her Masters in biochemistry, and from there continued at UVM for Medical School. She completed her family medicine residency in Seattle in 1996 and practiced in Seattle, WA, Ticonderoga, NY and most recently Oakland, ME. She provides full spectrum family care, minus OB. She has four kids and when the youngest graduated from college in 2023, she decided in was time to move back to Burlington to be near her mother. Her husband, also a family doctor, plans to retire and join her in Vermont. Accepting new patients.
Amy McGettrick, MD is a native Vermonter who grew up in the Champlain Islands. Dr. McGettrick graduated from the University of Washington with a B.S. in Nursing. After working as a registered nurse, she went to medical school at the University of Vermont and received the Edward E. Friedman Excellence in the Practice of Family Medicine Award. She completed her Family Medicine Residency at Fletcher Allen Health Care and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. Her professional interests include providing comprehensive care to individuals and families across the lifespan. She enjoys spending free time with family and friends, traveling, spending time outdoors, and enjoying live music. Not accepting new patients.
Mark Pitcher, MD graduated from the University of Rochester School of Medicine in 1987, completing his Residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Vermont in 1991. He was Chief Resident from 1990-1991, and has been part of UVM’s Clinical Faculty since 1990. Dr. Pitcher is an ABIM Board Certified physician with over 25 years of experience in Primary Care Internal Medicine, and has served as the Medical Director for Burlington Health and Rehabilitation since 1995. Currently serves as an associate Medical Director with the VNA Hospice Program, and is a Fellow in the American College of Physicians. Dr. Pitcher is a baseball fan who enjoys watching the Yankees. Sarah Arvidson, FNP was born and raised in Massachusetts. She attended Colby College in Maine where she received a BA in biology. She graduated from MGH Institute of Health Professions after completing a direct-entry nurse practitioner program in 2020. Before coming to the Community Health Centers, she completed a family nurse practitioner residency at the Holyoke Health Center in Holyoke, MA. Her professional interests include providing care across the lifespan, women’s health and preventative medicine. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, biking, skiing (downhill and cross-country), listening to podcasts and any kind of outdoor adventure. Accepting new patients.
Jena Katzman, FNP was born in Vermont and grew up at the base of Camel’s Hump in the deep woods of Duxbury. She attended Mount Holyoke College where she studied medical anthropology and developed a keen interest in women’s and reproductive health. Jena was a member of the first graduating class of UVM’s direct-entry nurse practitioner program in 2010 and has been practicing in Vermont ever since, in both primary care and urgent care settings. Along with providing comprehensive family and women’s health services, Jena is passionate about incorporating mental health care into the primary care setting and promoting access to behavioral health services throughout our rural state. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, playing tennis, gardening, reading, writing, skiing, and spending time with the people she loves both here in Vermont and across the world in New Zealand where part of her family resides. Katherine (KK) Logan, MD is a physician originally from Shelburne, Vermont. She received her undergraduate degree in Behavioral Neuroscience at Connecticut College and attended medical school at St. George’s University in Grenada. She recently completed her residency at Tidelands Health in South Carolina. Katherine is board certified in family medicine and is passionate about providing holistic, broad-spectrum care to all her patients. She is particularly interested in diabetes management, women’s health, pediatrics, and integrative medicine. After living out of state for many years, Katherine is excited to be returning home to Vermont to continue her medical career. Blake McKnight, MSN, FNP-C was born and raised in Vermont. He graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Arts degree, then entered the health care field through a job collecting blood donations at the American Red Cross, which led to a desire to become a family nurse practitioner. He earned a BSN degree at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, then completed the family nurse practitioner program at UVM. Before coming to the Community Health Centers, he worked for over four years at another local family practice, as well as a local college health center and two local urgent care clinics. His professional interests include diabetes management, primary and secondary prevention of cardiovascular disease, health screenings, and the health benefits of a plant-based diet. Outside of work, Blake enjoys cooking, podcasts, music, reading, chess, and biking. He lives in South Burlington with his family. Accepting new patients.
Christopher Vogt, DO originally moved to Vermont to attend UVM for his undergraduate and returned to Vermont after attending Osteopathic medical school at University of Pikeville, Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine, Pikeville, Kentucky. Dr. Vogt was board certified in both Family Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT) after attending residency at Kent Hospital in Warwick, RI. He provides Primary Care and Occupational Health, including care for acute and chronic medical conditions for patients of all ages. While working for Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center after residency Dr. Vogt acted as a clinical instructor for the Dartmouth Medical School. His love of teaching has led to his delivering multiple trainings on Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS) to medical students, colleagues, and physician assistant students throughout New England. Dr. Vogt is passionate about the integration of behavioral health into the primary care setting for seamless coordination of care. His goal is to partner with patients to promote healthy choices and maintain the active lifestyle they desire. Good Health Providers
John Brooklyn, MD is Board Certified in Family Medicine and Addiction Medicine. He has worked at CHC since 1993 and previously served as Medical Director. He has been a strong advocate for integrating people with substance use disorders into medical homes and conceived of the nationally recognized Hub and Spoke model to seamlessly treat opioid use disorders. He is on the UVM Medical Center Family Medicine and Psychiatry faculty as an Associate Clinical Professor and has been involved with the research of heroin, tobacco and cocaine use treatments there since 1992. His work helped lead to the approval of buprenorphine for opioid users. He is a national mentor for opioid use and substance use disorder treatment and a trainer for students, residents and faculty members throughout the United States. His interests remain in primary care, preventative care, the interface of behavior and health, the promotion of healthy lifestyles, treatment of substance use disorders, mindfulness, and motivational interviewing. Clodagh Coghlan, NP holds a BS in Nursing from UVM, and an MS in Nursing from Boston’s MGH Institute of Health Professions. While completing her studies she worked for the VNA in Cambridge, MA and at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. She then worked for Given Health Care from 1997-2001, after which she joined the CHC – Good Health team, where she has been ever since. Her focus is in Adult and Geriatric Primary Care. Danielle Johnston FNP-BC is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner who graduated with her Bachelors in Nursing in 2020 and her Masters in Nursing-Family Nurse Practitioner in 2023 from Norwich University. She previously worked as a Registered Nurse at the University of Vermont Medical Center in many different units, including General Surgery, General Medicine, Neurology, Orthopedics, Hematology & Oncology. She transitioned to the Community Health Centers – Good Health in 2024. Danielle’s clinical interests include Adult and Geriatric Primary Care. Christine D. Northrup, MD is a board certified physician in Internal Medicine. She received her medical degree at the University of Vermont College of Medicine in 1993. She completed her Primary Care Internal Medicine residency training at Fletcher Allen Health Care/ UVM Medical Center in 1996, and then served as Chief Medical Resident. Prior to entering medical school, she worked as an RN, earning her Bachelors Degree in Professional Nursing at UVM. After completing her medical training, she worked for Given Health Care Center, and then entered private practice. She joined CHC – Good Health in May, 2021 after 21 years of private practice in Shelburne. Dr. Northrup’s clinical interests include comprehensive health care, preventive care, and women’s health. Kathleen Santos, PA-C grew up in Williston Vermont. She received her undergraduate degree at UMass Amherst and Masters in Physician Assistant Studies at Drexel University in Philadelphia. After graduating, she returned to Vermont where she practiced in adult primary care medicine prior to starting at CHC. Although she enjoys the wide scope of adult primary care, she has clinical interest obesity medicine and nutrition. Alexandra (Alex) Toof MMS, PA-C was born and raised in Vermont. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Health Science from the University of North Florida and a Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Nova Southeastern University in 2013. She initially practiced in a surgical specialty in Florida before moving home to Vermont in 2015. She practiced in the emergency room and urgent care settings until transitioning to CHC in late 2022. She is passionate about caring for adult patients across the age spectrum. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her daughter, gardening, baking and enjoying everything Vermont has to offer.

Elisabeth (Liz) Wells, NP holds a BS in Nursing from Columbia University in NYC in 1998 and an MS in Nursing from Georgetown University in Washington, DC in December 2014. She worked at Central Vermont Medical Center until she joined the CHC – Good Health team. She enjoys working with patients from all walks of life. Sherry Larose, PA was born and raised in Franklin County, Vermont. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Clark University in 2005 and her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in 2009. Before PA school, Sherry worked as a Histology Supervisor at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center and as an Emergency Department Technician at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. Her professional interests include all aspects of family medicine especially adolescent medicine, mental health, and health education and prevention. Andrea Solomon, PA is a Vermont native who was raised in this community. In 2003, Andrea graduated from Skidmore College with a concentration in Women’s Studies. She completed her Physician Assistant training at the University of New England. She started her career at CHC in 2009. Her medical interests include, but are not limited to, adolescent medicine, women’s health, LGBTQ+ medicine, especially transgender health/gender affirming care and medication assisted treatment for substance use disorders. Natalie Antosh, MD grew up in Syracuse, NY. She received her BS in psychology from the University of Maryland, College Park and received her medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University. She then completed her residency in family medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. Along with providing primary care, she is passionate about providing gender affirming care and LGBTQ+ care, reproductive health, and mental health care. Benjamin (Ben) Baker, PA is a physician assistant who practices general primary care for all ages and backgrounds. He graduated with a degree in Biology from the University of Vermont, and Physician Assistant Studies at Quinnipiac University. He worked at a community health center in rural Oregon for eight years prior to moving back home to Vermont. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and exploring the great outdoors. Not accepting new patients.
Melanie Biegler, DO grew up in the Chicago suburbs. She attended Marquette University where she received a BS in Biomedical Sciences and a new interest in public health and preventative care while completing a public health internship as an urban farmer during that time. After working as an asthma educator through AmeriCorp, she attended medical school at A.T. Still University in Arizona with clinical rotations in Cincinnati, OH. She trained at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, WI for residency before making her way to Burlington to continue working in the community health center model that initially grew her interest in the importance of family and community health while in medical school. Melanie is board certified in family medicine and Osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT) and is passionate about working to address social determinants of health both in the office and on a policy level by partnering with patients to better understand their unique health goals and needs. Michelle Dorwart, MD, MPH was born and raised in western Nebraska. She attended Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, where she received a BA in theology. She graduated from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine before moving to Baltimore where she earned a Master of Public Health degree from Johns Hopkins University. For residency, she and her husband (who is a teacher) decided to pursue a shared fantasy of moving to Vermont. She graduated from the University of Vermont Medical Center Family Medicine Residency in June of 2016 and has been in practice at CHC – Riverside since then. Her professional interests include, but are not limited to, obstetrics and newborn care, family planning, adolescent medicine, and addressing social determinants of health. Sara Headley, FNP-C was born and raised just outside of Baltimore and first came to Vermont to obtain her undergraduate degree in nursing at the University of Vermont. She worked as a nurse in a variety of settings, took some time off to race as a professional cyclist and eventually obtained her Family Nurse Practitioner graduate degree at the University of California San Francisco. After almost 10 years on the west coast, Sara is excited to be back east in Vermont servicing the community here. She has particular passions for adolescent medicine, mental health care, and all things sports medicine and women’s health. She believes patients deserve a provider who will listen and include them in every step of the treatment plan. Lincoln Heath, MD was born and raised in Vermont. He did his undergraduate education at McGill University where he received a BS in biology and a minor in social studies of medicine. He was awarded his medical degree from the University of Vermont College of Medicine in 2012 and stayed to completed residency training at UVM Medical Center, specializing in Family Medicine. Dr. Heath is excited to provide Obstetric and Newborn care, Pediatrics, and Adult medicine. He is passionate about caring for families, New Americans, refugees, and those in need. Michael Ialeggio, MD moved to Vermont when he was thirteen, and completed middle school and high school in Randolph. As an undergraduate student, he studied Economics and Politics at Oberlin College in Ohio. He enjoyed a lengthy stretch of freewheeling during his twenties, during which time he worked with a labor union, a national park, and a vegetable farm, amongst many other seasonal adventures and assorted odds and ends. He attended medical school at UVM and returns to Burlington after a three-year hiatus in Rochester, NY, where he completed his residency in Family Medicine. Michael is excited to re-examine the Burlington creemee scene (which faces strong competition from Rochester’s frozen custard) and to find an old boat to sail on in Mallets Bay. He enjoys standard outdoorsy hobbies and is also interested in mental health, Spanish, saxophone, and reading. He is excited to join the OB team as part of CHC’s Maternal/Child Health Program. Karen Lencke, CNM, FNP-BC was born and raised in a small town in northern Vermont. She was a local, licensed home-birth midwife for several years before relocating to Montana to attend nursing school, run a vegetable farm, and ramble around big mountain ranges. She eventually made her way to Vanderbilt University to obtain her dual Nurse Midwifery and Family Nurse Practitioner graduate degree. Karen is excited that CHC has anchored her back in Vermont! She is passionate about providing a welcoming space for all and believes good listening skills are the foundation of good health care. Her clinical interests include reproductive health, gender-affirming and LGBTQ+ care, and holistic care. Emma Leonard, CNM, WHNP-BC was born and raised in Richmond Vermont. She received a BS in biology from Saint Michael’s College in 2011 and a BS in nursing from Fairfield University in 2015. Emma first worked for CHC as a Registered Nurse and is honored to return after getting her MS in nursing from Georgetown University. She believes in cultivating a therapeutic relationship with patients and working from a shared decision-making model of care. Her professional interests include, but are not limited to, reproductive health, transgender health/gender affirming care and perinatal care. Arturo (Sonny) Monteiro, PA-C grew up in the greater Burlington area and has always been an avid lover of the community. He received his Bachelor’s of Science in Biology with a Minor in Chemistry and Pharmacology from the University of Vermont. After spending some time working in various administrative and clinical positions, he went on to receive his Master’s of Science Physician Assistant from Stony Brook University. He has always had a special interest in preventative care and has committed himself to lifelong learning, especially in the improvement of quality care for all. Nia Phillips, DMS, PA-C holds a bachelor’s degree in biology at Kean University, a Master’s of Science in Physician Assistant studies from Rutgers University and a Doctor of Medical Science degree from Lincoln Memorial University with a focus in Internal Medicine. Before coming to CHC, she worked at Covenant House in New York City, where she helped to shelter and care for homeless and trafficked youth. She then went to the University of Vermont’s Alice Hyde Medical Center in Malone, New York, a rural area where she treated children and urgent-care patients. Both experiences gave her a reminder that “kids are incredible, loving, forgiving, compassionate and empathetic. They are literally the best thing about the world.” Nia is passionate about the topic of diversity within medicine. With her social worker friend, she co-hosted the podcast “Cure the Culture” to encourage listeners to pursue healthcare careers and learn how to advocate for themselves and their loved ones. Deepika Pokhrel, PA-C, was born in Nepal and relocated to Vermont at the age of 13; she has embraced a global perspective on healthcare. Deepika earned her Bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Vermont, where her curiosity for the intricacies of life sciences first flourished. Her commitment to healthcare led her to pursue a Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies at Seton Hill University in Pennsylvania, where she honed her clinical skills and knowledge. Her approach to healthcare is deeply rooted in patient-centered principles, with a strong focus on building trust and rapport with individuals under her care. She thrives on working with a diverse group of patients, valuing each person’s unique needs and perspectives. Outside of the medical setting, Deepika finds joy in exploring the great outdoors through hiking, and she’s an avid traveler, always eager to learn about new cultures and experiences. Adam Sadowski, ND, MS is a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine and came to Vermont and the Community Health Centers after moving from Portland, Oregon. Originally a native from New York and a son of two Polish immigrants, he completed his medical education at the National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM) in 2020 and served as the Chief Resident in 2023 at a Tier 4 Patient Centered Primary Care Home affiliated through NUNM prior to joining CHC. During his residency, he provided care in both urban and rural community health clinics as well as Family Medicine settings. He has additionally published in several peer-reviewed journals as a research investigator and student-mentor at NUNM’s Helfgott Research Institute. He currently sits as the Chair for the Institute of Natural Medicine Primary Care Task Force and his clinical interests include preventive cardiology, diabetes, obesity, HIV PrEP, Hepatitis C, vaccinations, minor surgery, and integrating lifestyle medicine through an evidence-based approach. When not focusing on medicine, he can be seen training for triathlons, weightlifting, and cooking. Accepting new patients aged 18 and older. Kevin Sheasgreen, FNP-BC was born in Framingham, Massachusetts and grew up in North Attleboro, MA. He has BA in philosophy from the University of Massachusetts at Boston which was formative if not remunerative. He worked as a natural gas linesman, school bus driver, carpenter, and then for the National Park Service at Rocky Mountain National Park performing historic restoration before taking his nursing degree at Regis University in Denver, Colorado in 2002. Entering nursing was the best choice he ever made apart from marrying his partner (also a nurse). He obtained his advanced practice degree from the University of Maine, Orono and certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2020. He has a particular interest in how public policy affects health outcomes for the public and his patients. Away from work he reads random books, hikes, skis, visits with friends and family and tries to get outside as much as he can. Accepting new patients.
Emily Sutton, PharmD, CDECS is a clinical pharmacist and diabetes educator. She grew up in rural Louisiana and completed her undergraduate work at Southeastern Louisiana University. She completed her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at the University of Iowa and then returned to the South to the University of Mississippi Medical Center for residency training. She moved to Vermont in 2011 and has worked with CHC since 2012. Emily’s professional interests include diabetes care and education, compassionate and evidence based chronic disease management, and serving people from all backgrounds. She believes in a providing a non-judgmental space to meet every person where they feel comfortable with their medications. In her free time, Emily enjoys spending time with her family and reading, running, biking, and swimming. Emily is available to our doctors and specialists, as well as our patients, for medication management. When appropriate, she meets directly with patients to provide medication education. Emily is available for patient consultation by provider referral.
Alicyn Trask, PA-C, MMSc completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Neuroscience at University of Colorado, Boulder. She received her Master’s of Medical Science from Emory University’s Physician Assistant program with special emphasis in rural healthcare. Before joining CHC, she worked for Stride Community Health Center in Denver, Colorado for 13 years. Most recently, she completed a 2-year fellowship in dermatology in South Florida where she was awarded the distinction of diplomate fellow by the Society of Dermatology PAs. Her professional interests include holistic medicine, the connection between physical and mental health, women’s health and dermatology. During her spare time, she enjoys adventures of all kinds – hiking with her dogs, biking, backpacking, skiing and traveling the world – as well as yoga, reading and word puzzles. Wayne Warnken, MD graduated from Western State College and from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Medical School. He completed his residency at the University of Washington Family Medicine Residency-Valley Medical Center. Before medical school Dr. Warnken worked at Samaritan House-Homeless Shelter, in Denver Colorado; for the United States Park Service; and as a research assistant at the Salk Institute. Dr. Warnken’s professional interests are in Spanish, addiction medicine, pediatrics and adolescent medicine, nutrition, and sports medicine. When Dr. Warnken is not at work he is active in the H.O. Kerry Goulette, PA-C, MHP graduated from College of Holy Cross and received her Physician Assistant certificate and Master of Health Professions from Northeastern University. Before her arrival at the Health Center in 2006, Kerry worked for Lynn Community Health Center and Boston Medical Center in Massachusetts. Her professional interests include adult medicine and preventive health. Kerry is currently focusing her practice on the adult homeless population in our community. Kerry speaks Spanish and loves to spend time being active with her family. Accepting new patients experiencing homelessness.
Lincoln Heath, MD was born and raised in Vermont. He did his undergraduate education at McGill University where he received a BS in biology and a minor in social studies of medicine. He was awarded his medical degree from the University of Vermont College of Medicine in 2012 and stayed to completed residency training at UVM Medical Center, specializing in Family Medicine. Dr. Heath is excited to provide Obstetric and Newborn care, Pediatrics, and Adult medicine. He is passionate about caring for families, New Americans, refugees, and those in need. When not at work he may be found hiking, climbing, camping, eating good food, or spending time with family. Accepting new patients experiencing homelessness.

Jamie Charlson, FNP received her bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Auburn University and began her nursing career working in critical care. After completing her Master of Public Health degree from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill, she worked in research, school health and community health settings before returning for further graduate studies at the University of Vermont. She graduated from UVM with a Doctorate of Nursing Practice and is a board certified Family Nure Practitioner. Her professional interests include adolescent health and comprehensive healthcare for all ages. Jamie enjoys time with her family, including her two children, long walks with her dogs, and beekeeping. Not accepting new patients.
Adrienne Jarvis, MD grew up in Burlington, Vermont. She received both her BA in art history and her MD from the University of Vermont and completed the Family Medicine Residency Program at UVM Medical Center in 2021. Prior to medical school, she worked locally at various times as a labor and delivery assistant, a baker, a video store manager, and a clinical research assistant for Dengue Fever and West Nile Virus vaccine studies. Kristen Koeller, DNP, AGNP-C first worked for CHC as a medical assistant in 2019 before beginning the direct-entry nursing program at The University of Vermont where she earned her RN and Doctor of Nursing Practice degree. As an RN, she worked in Vermont at a low-barrier buprenorphine program providing MAT with a focus on harm reduction and overdose prevention. She then went on to work at a private family medicine practice where she expanded her knowledge and skills in caring for individuals with both acute and chronic conditions. She is passionate about providing quality care to folks from all walks of life. Her adventurous spirit helps her enjoy any activity that involves being outdoors: Hiking, skiing, biking, and kayaking with her husband and golden retriever. She is ecstatic to return in a new role at CHC where her love of family medicine first started. Accepting new patients.
Michayla Maxwell, FNP was born and raised in Amherst, Massachusetts. She moved to Boston to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. She relocated to Vermont after accepting a position as an RN at UVMMC in inpatient cardiology and then later transitioned to emergency medicine. In the emergency department, she discovered her passion for caring for patients with diverse medical needs and the important impact of preventative care firsthand. This motivated Michayla to pursue her Master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Drexel University. Her professional interests include pediatrics, prevention of cardiovascular disease, fitness and weight management, and mental health. Outside the clinic, you’ll find her exploring Vermont with her family. She is always on the hunt for the next hidden swimming hole, a delicious creemee, and a night of live music. She is excited to build trusting relationships with patients of all ages and provide full spectrum care. Not accepting new patients.
Winooski Providers
Lindsay Arzberger, FNP grew up in Vermont. She received her undergraduate education in nursing at the University of Vermont. After working in the emergency department as a Registered Nurse and Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) for seven years, she obtained her Master’s Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Simmons University in Boston, Massachusetts. Lindsay worked as an FNP in both the emergency department and urgent care for six years prior to coming to CHC after further appreciating the importance of and need for increased access to primary care. Her professional interests include LGBTQ+ care, pediatrics and women’s health. Lindsay’s personal interests include almost any outdoor activity, exercise, reading, attempting to garden and spending time with her family. Accepting new patients.
Hannah Culver, PA-C originally moved from New Hampshire to Vermont to attend UVM, where she received her bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience in 2019. Prior to PA school, Hannah discovered her passion for helping patients while working as a Medical Assistant at CHC-Riverside and an EMT in Shelburne, Vermont. She received her Master’s of Medical Science from Tufts University Physician Assistant Program. As a board-certified physician assistant, she is committed to providing exceptional care and fostering a welcoming environment for adult and pediatric patients from diverse backgrounds. Her professional interests focus on holistic medicine and reproductive health. Outside of work, Hannah enjoys skiing, running, biking, and spending time with friends. Accepting new patients.
Irene Koplinka-Loehr, MD grew up in Ithaca, New York before moving to Carleton College in Minnesota where she graduated with a BA in studio art. She completed her medical degree at the Medical School for International Health in Beer Sheva, Israel, a medical school focused on global health and international medicine. She then moved back to upstate New York to finish out her residency training through the University of Rochester. Irene joined the Community Health Centers in 2017 and has been enjoying her practice out of the Winooski practice since that time. She has a special interest in full-spectrum family medicine, complex patient care, and working towards a more equitable health care system for all. Outside of the clinic you may see her running, biking, swimming, or spending time with her family near Lake Champlain. Not accepting new patients.
Tyler O’Bryan, MD is board certified in family medicine. He completed his dual undergraduate degrees in Biochemistry (B.Sc.) and Cultural Anthropology (B.A.). He earned his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine with a focus on global health and earned his residency program across Lake Champlain in Plattsburgh, New York. While originally from Canada, he has relocated to Vermont and made it his home. Tyler’s practice interests include infectious disease management, Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT), global health, and helping his patients achieve their own health goals. Outside of work, he enjoys family time, cooking and entertaining with his wife, running with his dog, both Nordic and alpine skiing, training for triathlons, and like any good Canadian he also loves hockey. Heather Stein, MD graduated from Virginia Tech with a BS in biochemistry and a BA in classical studies. She attended medical school at West Virginia University before moving to Vermont for her family medicine residency at Fletcher Allen (now the University of Vermont Medical Center). During this time, she was introduced to the CHC community and it made a lasting impression. Dr. Stein first joined CHC as a Primary Care Provider in 2011, and has served as Associate Medical Director, Medical Director, and Chief Medical Officer during her tenure. Dr. Stein’s professional interests include coordinated team based care and under-resourced community members, and comprehensive care for the whole family. She is board certified in Family Medicine and Addiction Medicine. Not accepting new patients.
Bang To, PA-C grew up in Winooski, VT and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Biological Sciences and Chemistry from the University of Vermont in 2007. He earned his MS and Physician Assistant Certification from Lenox Hill Hospital through the Pace University Physician Assistant Program in New York City in 2010. Bang is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and is Board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Before PA school, he worked as a direct care provider for the Visiting Nurse Association and as a Vietnamese interpreter for UVM. He worked at Alice Hyde Medical Center in Malone, NY after graduation and moved back to Vermont in 2013. He worked at Northwestern Medical Center Urgent Care in St. Alban’s VT before joining CHC – Winooski in 2014. His clinical interests are in Urgent Care and Family Medicine. Outside of work Bang enjoys playing pool and spending time with his family. Not accepting new patients.
