Alison received her graduate degree at UVM, planning to work in human resources after five years in the marketing world. This career path was diverted with a job at CHCB, starting as their first Communications Coordinator. Over the years, she has worn many hats for CHCB, including developing annual and capital campaigns, patient relations and operations, community communications and collaborations, recruiter, federal programs manager, grant developer, passionate spokesperson and generally anything CHCB required to advance its mission of care. As the CEO, she continues to be dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of Vermonters, ending homelessness, and contributing to the excellence and quality of the FQHC model of care.
Dave received his degree in Business Administration from the Ohio State University. He has spent his entire career in health care financial management with the majority of the time in hospitals beginning with Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Moving to Vermont, he then spent 20 years at the Medical Center Hospital of Vermont followed by several years as a Health Care Consultant. He has been with CHCB since 2002.
Audrey was born and raised in central Illinois. She received her BS in biology from the University of Illinois, then attended Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston. She completed her family medicine residency training at the West Suburban Family Residency in Chicago in 2008. She worked at another FQHC, PCC Community Wellness located in the west side of Chicago for three years before relocating to Burlington. Her professional interests include family planning, underserved medicine, and she especially loves caring for families. She enjoys hiking, swimming, running, traveling and loves to explore up and coming independent music.
Deb graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a BSN in Nursing. She’s been fortunate enough to work at CHCB for the last 18 years where she’s been surrounded by an incredible staff who are passionate and dedicated to the mission of caring for those in need. When not at CHCB, Deb loves to travel, cycle, swim, hike, ski or just about anything else.
Harris received his Bachelor of Arts from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Strokoff attended Medical School at Temple University in Philadelphia and completed his residency and fellowship training in Psychiatry and Child/Adolescent Psychiatry at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in New Hampshire. He specializes in treating children and adolescents, but enjoys treating people of all ages. While not at work he enjoys spending time with his family and spending time outdoors all year round.
Tonya started her career in health care as a Registered Nurse, working in Intensive Care Units, including the Elvis Presley Trauma Unit in Memphis, TN, and three years in Guatemala working with the Mayan Indians. She received her Masters of Nursing degree at Yale University School of Nursing in Connecticut and became a Nurse Practitioner. The change of seasons and rural community life beckoned her to the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont, where she worked in Primary Care and then as Clinical Director for Northern Counties Health Care for 23 years. She and her son then migrated to “Big City” life in the Burlington area where she had a consulting business and worked in Urgent Care and in the Prison Health systems before happily landing at CHCB in 2014. Here, she is the Director of Quality Improvement, working to improve life for staff and patients, and continues to see patients part time at CHCB and UVMMC Urgent Care. Now back to “country life” in Underhill, her pleasures in life are reading, movies, watching the sun rise and set, friends, swing dancing, hiking, campfires, and dinner at really nice restaurants.
Diana is a forty year veteran of the dental profession and community service to underserved Vermonters. Diana started her career with the Burlington Dental Clinic which eventually merged with the Community Health Centers in 2004. As the Dental Director, Diana has led CHCB to grow one of the state’s largest Federally Qualified Health Center dental programs, including a School-Based Dental Center and increased services for homeless residents.
Cedric received a bachelor degree in Business from Green Mountain College and has been working in the IT field since 2000. Cedric started working at CHCB in 2005 and has continued to maintain our technology architecture and ensure that the systems can support the growing and changing needs of the organization.
