CHCB offers Suboxone Treatment for opiate addiction. This medication-assisted therapy uses buprenorphine (Suboxone) together with education, Behavioral Health/Counseling and other support needed to manage addiction for a lifetime. Medication-assisted treatment for opiate addiction is much like treatment for other chronic illnesses.
CHCB is a part of Vermont’s Care Alliance which delivers ongoing care services for opiate addiction in a model called the “Hub and Spoke.” CHCB provides Office-Based Opiate Treatment and is known as a “Spoke” within this model. Hub and Spoke services ensure that each patient undergoing treatment has a medical home, a medical provider, a pharmacy home, and access to nurses and clinicians. At CHCB, our opiate treatment team includes a nurse and Behavioral Health Coordinators and is a free service to suboxone patients. We help lift barriers to care and provide the support patients with complex addictions need to be successful in their recovery.
If you are a CHCB patient and would like more information about how to access Suboxone Treatment, please speak to your physician. Others may call Howard Center’s Safe Recovery line at (802) 488-6067 or visit their MAT information page.
