Medical Providers at Winooski
Adam Greenlee, MD, grew up on a beef cattle farm in rural Southwestern Pennsylvania, before moving on to Colgate University and graduating with a BA in history. After completing his undergraduate degree, he taught English in South Korea as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant and worked within the Office of AIDS Research at the National Institutes of Health. He received his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and remained in Pittsburgh for training in the UPMC St. Margaret/WPIC combined family medicine/psychiatry residency program. His personal interests include improving the interface between mental and physical health and health care systems that improve patient care through integrating physical and behavioral health. While not at work, he enjoys spending time with his family, books, animals, and enjoying the great outdoors. Not accepting new patients.
Jessica Griffin, FNP completed her undergraduate degree in Biology at UVM, and worked in HIV research for several years in Boston before deciding to pursue a career as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She completed her MSN at Simmons College and then moved back to VT where she spent two years working in a rural clinic in the Northeast Kingdom. She values getting to know her patients and loves that being an FNP means seeing patients of all ages, from newborn to elderly. Her professional interests include addressing social determinants of health and understanding the ways in which culture impacts health behaviors. She believes a non-judgmental approach where patients can be open and honest about their needs is essential to providing excellent care. Outside of work she loves to cook, hike, bike and ski with her husband and dog. Accepting new patients.
Anne Knott, MD is board certified in both family medicine and integrative medicine. She earned her undergraduate degree from Yale University and completed her medical degree and residency in Rochester, New York. After a brief stint in Alaska, she has been in Vermont since 1998. She initially worked in a rural practice in Addison County but relocated north after a cross country trip with her family. Since 2006, she has been practicing in Burlington and Winooski. Anne’s practice interests include integrative medicine and helping individuals to develop tools to engage in their own health goals. When not at work, she enjoys spending time outdoors and with her ever-growing family. Not accepting new patients.
Tyler O’Bryan, MD is board certified in family medicine. He completed his dual undergraduate degrees in Biochemistry (B.Sc.) and Cultural Anthropology (B.A.). He earned his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine with a focus on global health and earned his residency program across Lake Champlain in Plattsburgh, New York. While originally from Canada, he has relocated to Vermont and made it his home. Tyler’s practice interests include infectious disease management, Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT), global health, and helping his patients achieve their own health goals. Outside of work, he enjoys family time, cooking and entertaining with his wife, running with his dog, both Nordic and alpine skiing, training for triathlons, and like any good Canadian he also loves hockey. Bang To, PA-C grew up in Winooski, VT and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Biological Sciences and Chemistry from the University of Vermont in 2007. He earned his MS and Physician Assistant Certification from Lenox Hill Hospital through the Pace University Physician Assistant Program in New York City in 2010. Bang is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and is Board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Before PA school, he worked as a direct care provider for the Visiting Nurse Association and as a Vietnamese interpreter for UVM. He worked at Alice Hyde Medical Center in Malone, NY after graduation and moved back to Vermont in 2013. He worked at Northwestern Medical Center Urgent Care in St. Alban’s VT before joining Winooski Family Health in 2014. His clinical interests are in Urgent Care and Family Medicine. Outside of work Bang enjoys playing pool and spending time with his family. Accepting new patients.
Sam Russo, ND, LAC, RMSK completed his Masters Degree in Acupuncture and Doctorate Degree in Naturopathic Medicine at Bastyr University, in 2002. An experienced naturopathic physician Dr. Russo has helped many patients with the naturopathic and traditional Chinese medical approaches to healing. He is dedicated to empowering people to create optimal health through education, inspiration, and natural therapy.
His focus on integrative orthopedic medicine utilizes effective, long lasting practices, including acupuncture, herbal and nutritional medicines, manipulation and injection therapies. He uses ultrasound imaging in the office for diagnostic imaging as well image guidance for injection therapies including:
- Platelet-rich plasma injections
- Myofascial trigger point injections
- Regenerative Injection Therapy / Prolotherapy
He is past president of the Vermont Association of Naturopathic Physicians and currently serves as advisor to the Office of Professional Regulation in Vermont. Accepting new patients.

Margaret (Greta) Spottswood, MD, MPH graduated from University of Vermont College of Medicine and completed her Psychiatry Residency and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at the Cambridge Health Alliance. She enjoys the challenge of evidence-based psychiatric care using a team approach with patient registries and care managers to provide consultation and care to large populations.
Mental Health Clinicians at Winooski
Kara Fauth, LICSW, AAP received her BA from Colorado State University – Pueblo and MSW from Smith College. Prior to joining CHCB in 2016, Kara worked in various settings including residential, inpatient, and outpatient treatment, as well as a pediatric hospital and an educational setting. Kara most recently worked with Howard Center, providing therapeutic support to high school students and families. Kara provides a strength-based approach to address depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use, behavior changes, and stress reduction in order to achieve overall wellness. Kara is also an Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) trained clinician.
