As an integral part of the health care management at CHCB, the Behavioral Health Staff is here to help guide clients through mental health disorders, substance abuse programs, and general therapy. We employ eight Licensed Clinical Social Workers who are also licensed as Alcohol and Drug Counselors and a psychiatric nurse practitioner and physiatrist who are on-site once per week. The Behavioral Staff is available to the medical providers and patients for consultation.
“I used to drink and abuse pain medicine. Now I’m changing my life for the better. I’m losing weight and walking. I definitely feel healthier. When you have a new life, you had better take care of yourself. Now it’s like a step beyond the addiction. My doctor is not just a good doctor; he has helped me in so many ways and it’s amazing everything is falling into place for me. I’m a whole person, and it’s a whole new world for me.” – John, age 60
