Laboratory testing is essential for good health. At CHCB, we make lab testing easy for people with busy lives. As a CHCB patient, you don’t need to go anywhere else. Our laboratory is fully equipped to perform many of the routine tests ordered by our providers. For convenience, your testing may be done during your office visit or scheduled for a later date. All lab tests are part of CHCB’s sliding fee scale for uninsured patients.
We have the ability to test: Cholesterol, Triglyceride, and HDL for Lipid Screening, Hemoglobin A1C and Urine Microalbumin for Diabetes Screening, Thyroid Screening, Pregnancy Testing, HIV Testing, Urinalysis, and MANY more.
Hours
The laboratory is open 8:30am to 4:00pm Monday through Friday. However, you must call to schedule an appointment and your provider must order the tests prior to your appointment being scheduled. Samples are only collected from patients of the health center. Please check with your provider to determine if there are any special requirements for the testing he or she has requested.
Test Results
For your security, the Community Health Center of Burlington Laboratory does not currently release test results to patients, but a CHCB provider can explain results during your appointment. Please do not call CHCB for test results.
You may also contact the Health Information Services Department at (802) 864-6309 ext 325 for laboratory for a copy of your test results. Please leave your name, date of birth, approximate date of service, and a telephone number at which you can be reached. Note: All laboratory results must be reviewed by a provider before they can be released to a patient.
