Laboratory testing is essential for good health. At CHCB, we make lab testing easy for people with busy lives. As a CHCB patient, you don’t need to go anywhere else. Our laboratory is fully equipped to perform many of the routine tests ordered by our providers. For convenience, your testing may be done during your office visit or scheduled for a later date. All lab tests are part of CHCB’s sliding fee scale for uninsured patients.
We are certified as a Moderate Complexity Testing Lab and we have ability to test:Cholesterol, Triglyceride, and HDL for Lipid Screening, Hemoglobin A1C and Urine Microalbumin for Diabetes Screening, Thyroid screening, Pregnancy Testing, Rapid HIV Testing, Flu Testing, Urine Drug Screen Testing, Complete Blood Cell Count, Urinalysis and MANY more.
Lab Operation Hours:
Monday - Wednesday.............8:30 am - 8:30 pm
Thursday & Friday.................8:30 am - 5:00 pm
Your provider must order the tests prior to your appointment being scheduled. Please call 864-6309 to make an appointment.
Phlebotomy Hours:
Monday - Friday.................................7:15 am - 4:00 pm
Samples are only collected from CHCB patients. Please check with your provider to determine if there are any special requirements for the testing he or she has requested.
Test Results
For your security, the Community Health Center of Burlington Laboratory does not currently release test results to patients, but a CHCB provider can explain results during your appointment. Please do not call CHCB for test results.
You may also contact call our main number (802) 864-6309 and ask to speak to Triage to request a copy of your test results. Please leave your name, date of birth, approximate date of service, and a telephone number at which you can be reached. Note: All laboratory results must be reviewed by a provider before they can be released to a patient.

Important Notice:
The laboratory tests ordered by your provider may be sent for processing to Fletcher Allen Health Care or another laboratory agency. It is important for you to know that CHCB's Sliding-Fee Scale cannot be applied to lab tests that are processed by outside agencies; you or your insurance carrier will be billed directly for these services. If you have questions about where your labs go, please ask your provider.
