American Red Cross New England
As part of a worldwide movement that offers neutral humanitarian care to the victims of war, the American Red Cross distinguishes itself by also aiding victims of devastating natural disasters. Over the years, the organization has expanded its services, always with the aim of preventing and relieving suffering.
Burlington Housing Authority
The Burlington Housing Authority is Vermont's oldest and largest municipally-based housing authority. Created in 1961, BHA has been providing affordable housing for forty years to individuals and families in the City of Burlington and surrounding communities.
COTS (The Committee on Temporary Shelter)
COTS provides emergency shelter, services, and housing for people who are without homes or who are marginally housed. COTS advocates for long-term solutions to end homelessness.

Fletcher Allen Health Care
Fletcher Allen Health Care is both a community hospital and, in partnership with the University of Vermont, the state's academic health center. They offer comprehensive services for all health care needs, including: Level I Trauma Center, Vermont Children's Hospital, Vermont Cancer Center, and Advanced Cardiac Care.
Green Mountain Care
Green Mountain Care is a family of low-cost and free health coverage programs for Vermonters and is offered by the state of Vermont and its partners. Green Mountain Care provides uninsured Vermonters with access to quality, comprehensive health care coverage at a reasonable cost. Programs include Dr. Dynasaur, VHAP, and Catamount Health as well as other affordable health care programs.
HealthCare.gov
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services unveiled an innovative new on-line tool on July 1, 2010 that will help consumers take control of their health care by connecting them to new information and resources that will help them access quality, affordable health care coverage. Called for by the Affordable Care Act, HealthCare.gov is the first website to provide consumers with both public and private health coverage options tailored specifically for their needs in a single, easy-to-use tool.
NAMI Vermont (National Alliance on Mental Illness)
NAMI-Vermont is a statewide volunteer organization comprised of family members, friends, and individuals affected by mental illness. They have experienced the struggles and have joined together in membership to help themselves and others by providing support, information, education and advocacy.

Northern New England Poison Control
The Northern New England Poison Center provides immediate treatment advice for poison emergencies. They also provide information about poisons and poison prevention, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.

Vermont 2-1-1
Vermont 2-1-1 provides all people in Vermont with free access to community resources through information and referral (I&R). This access includes personal assistance by telephone and online through a searchable database of services, including the following: Child Care Resources, Clothing and Thrift Shops, Crisis Services, Domestic and Sexual Violence Services, Food Shelves and Nutrition Programs, Alcohol and Drug Programs, Legal Assistance, Youth and Family Services, and more! The Vermont Campaign to End Childhood Hunger is a statewide nonprofit organization that works with state agencies and community groups to develop sustainable hunger solutions.
