CHCB's New Transgender Clinic
CHCB has launched its newest health initiative designed to meet the specific needs of transgender community residents. Led by CHCB's Rachel Inker, M.D., the clinic will provide comprehensive medical care to transgender patients at our Pearl Street Clinic office in downtown Burlington. The clinic hours are Thursday from 7:45 to 11am and will be staffed by Dr. Inker, CHCB nurses and staff.
"We designed this clinic to ensure local transgender men and women could find a health care setting that understood and supported their health care needs," said Dr. Inker.
The Transgender Health Clinic welcomes patients seeking healthcare sensitive to the needs and concerns of individuals in the transgender community. This clinic is a safe and trans-affirmative space for patients to receive full spectrum care including hormone replacement therapy as well as routine medical care.
Dr. Inker graduated from Harvard University AB Cum Laude and University of Massachusetts Medical School.
